J.M.: Well, hello, everyone. My name is Joshua Maddox. And this is my assistant Kelly.
大家好，我是赵硕，这是我的助理Kelly.
主持人：So, would you please just say a bit about yourself?
关于你自己，能不能先说点什么？
J.M.: I'm from the state of Florida in America. I've been in China for about 2 years. You have a wonderful country, very beautiful place. And I'm right now teaching soft skills for business training and some business english as well, in China.
我刚才已经说到，我的名字是赵硕，来自美国佛罗里达州，到中国大概2年了。中国是个非常美丽的国家。目前，在中国，我主要进行职业技能培训，也教些商务英语。
主持人：Ok, thank you very much for your wonderful introductory. Today we're having a topic on Dates. when we hear the word date, we normally think of the type of date that a yong guy and girl go on. But there are other types of dates such as a lunch date between collegues. Alright, so let's hear what Josh have to say about dates. Josh, could you tell us about the different types of dates in america?
谢谢你的介绍。今天，我们的话题是“约会”。说到约会，中国人的的第一感觉往往是男女朋友之间的约会，而事实上约会有很多的种类，比如同事间的午餐约会。那么，让我们来听听Josh的看法。Josh，你能不能给我们讲讲在美国各种各样的约会种类？
J.M.: Well, you've mentioned alreay one very popular date, that is not a romantic date, it's a lunch date. For parents who have children, often times they'll set out a play date.
恩，你已经提到一种很普遍的约会，就是午餐约会，这并不是男女朋友间的约会。此外，对于那些有孩子的父母亲，他们经常会和孩子有一种“游玩日”的约会。
